Day 6 of Trip to Israel

One of the things you notice about breakfast here is that there is no meat. No bacon, ham nor sausages. Those things are not acceptable to eat by the Jewish people. But there is fish. But I don't eat fish for breakfast. Not kosher for me.

At the vending counters at the convention center, they don't have much to eat. Plus I wouldn't know how to order from the menu.













After the morning sessions, we are able to get back on the bus where they provide these box lunches. Gotta make sure they're kosher. These are primarily given to people who are going on tours.















The lunch consists of a salad, fish sandwich, apple, chocolate muffin, and water. Like I noted in the previous post, the sweets here aren't very sweet. The chocolate muffin tasted like it was made from bitter chocolate.













This is a common sight. Vendors hawking their wares. This one was selling bags...7 for $10. He said he is broke because he has an American wife so he needs the money now.
