Happy New Year

For the past eight years, our family would celebrate New Year's staying overnight at a church office or off island because the smoke would affect the kids' asthma.

But not this year baby! This year, I was going to make sure our kids would be pumped up with albuterol because it was a New Year's party at the Palompo's! The fireworks were busted out early and not only my kids, but the Palompo kids from California, had a go at it. It started with sparklers, then morning glories, then moved into flower blossoms, and then finally the cool shoots-in-the-air sparklies.

So proud of my kids. When it came time to teach them how to light a fuse in the middle of the street when no cars were coming they had no problems! Aaaah...teaching at it's best. The next generation of New Year Pyros in the making!
