Blues Brothers

"Blues Brothers" is just one of those great movies. By the time this movie was being made, John Belushi was a very big star coming off SNL and Animal House. And being a Chicago son, the city pretty much gave him carte blanche. Which is why Chicago bent over backwards to allow this movie to be made including the car crash through government buildings.

This movie also revived the careers of Cab Calloway and Arethra Franklin and James Brown.
